Not the freshly cut grass or the scent of a flower...it's the scent of love cascading to new heights through this lovely couple Brent and Nicole...I'm shooting their wedding later this year....

forgive me for my language...I've been up and going for 22 hours now...lol

and to think!!!! they wanted to got to Owen Mills (not that anything's wrong with owen mills...)

Oh nevermind...

Of Course as always....We had a ball....

Me and Mrs. Jones...

Hello all,

I keep hearing that song by the Billy Paul (hear below)

Anyway,

The only thing me and Mrs. Jones had going on was a photo shoot in Chicago Heights....I met Mrs. Jones through a young lady I haven't even met in person yet...but that'll happen in due time...

I had the shoot all set up at a co-workers house on his motorcycle...but that fell through...so me and Mrs. Jones scrambled to the lovely town of Chicago heights to shoot...I was looking for a contrast...soft and pretty vs. hard and grimy...and of course Chicago Heights played its role...

Because of the last minute change of plans we were fighting darkness...and that's when Mrs. Jones turned into a comic book character ....

lol...sorry I couldn't help it...I've been wanting to make someone a cartoon character for a while..

Back to the regularly scheduled blogging...

Here are a couple of shots from today's shoot....

so after a few shots...and plenty of horns beeping as the cars passed by...we decided to change into our business attire....

The Chicago Heights police pulled up and said, "Hey, What y'all doin'? We won't tell..."

I thought that was hilarious...

and for the record...Mrs. Jones did keep her clothes on...although all those driving on Lincoln hwy through Chicago Heights thought that she wasn't going to...

and as always....I had a blast!

lil cousin...

Hello all,

I've been quite busy lately...I guess that's a good thing...lol...I have to keep reminding myself that I have a full time job already....but who knows...maybe this will become my full time gig sooner than later...

Anyway,

I had the privilege of meeting a long distant cousin of mine...and I mentioned to her that I was working on building the "Lil ones" section of my online portfolio....She was more than gracious to help me out...I wish you could have been there...this little guy was a barrel of laughs....

So I introduce to you... Anthony....

I finally got him to sit down....but trust me when I say it was only for a minute...lol

Tybee Island....

Well,
My vacation is winding down... but I couldn't let it go by without sharing some images with you....

In my pursuit to book more weddings this year....I decided to set up a bridal-model shoot...to show my potential clients how great a bridal portrait session could be...

I found Ms. Juliane here in Savannah, Ga while I was visiting my parents...I purchased a dress for her to wear for our shoot out on Tybee Island...I wanted a wedding dress but I had to settle on a formal dress because a wedding dress was a little to expensive for me to purchase and put in saltwater...lol...

she told me she was surprised that I wasn't stuck up....maybe that's something I need to work on...."being a stuck-up photographer"...

just kidding....

She was laid back...and we had a great day shooting at the beach....The Atlantic Ocean Beaches are nothing like the Gulf Of Mexico Beaches....but we made it work....

I received phone call last week from a young lady who was just about to graduate from college...she said she'd be headed to Washington soon to start her internship and she wanted to book a portrait session...

So we scheduled a time in the late evening and shot away...

And as always...I had a blast....
I wish her the best of luck...

A Day at the Park....

I'm excited to share with you a few images I had the pleasure of capturing today....
A Co-worker of mine agreed to meet me at the park with his two lovely daughters Grace and
Haley...These two toddlers were loads of fun to watch and shoot...

and I gotta bonus today.....

There were two adorable little ones at the park playing as well...and one little one named "J"....jumped right in front of the camera...lol...I didn't mind snapping a couple but I had to make sure his father didn't mind...

and of I can't forget the older sister "P"...
